Rep. John A. Boehner (R-Ohio) — John A. Boehner represents the 8th District of Ohio. He was born in Reading, Ohio on Nov. 17, 1949. Boehner graduated from Xavier University in 1977. His professional history includes selling plastics and packaging materials for Nucite Sales where he worked his way up to president. Boehner began his political career in local (Union Township) politics before moving on to the Ohio House of Representatives. Boehner was elected to the House of Representatives in 1990 and elected Speaker of the House for the 112th Congress. He married Deborah Gunlack in 1973 and has two children: Lindsay and Tricia.
