SA 813. Mr. SESSIONS submitted an amendment intended to be proposed to amendment SA 738 proposed by Mr. INOUYE to the bill H.R. 2112, making appropriations for Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies programs for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2012, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows:

On page 147, line 7, strike the period at the end and insert ":
Provided further, That no jurisdiction shall receive compensation from the amount made available by this paragraph if the jurisdiction has a custom, practice, policy, legislative provision, or ordinance that results in the jurisdiction failing or refusing to comply with immigration detainers issued by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.".
