SA 810. Mr. SESSIONS submitted an amendment intended to be proposed to amendment SA 738 proposed by Mr. INOUYE to the bill H.R. 2112, making appropriations for Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies programs for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2012, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows:

At the end of title VII of division A, add the following:
Sec. X. None of the funds appropriated or otherwise made available by this Act shall be used to pay the salaries and expenses of personnel to carry out the supplemental nutrition assistance program established under the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 (7 U.S.C. 2011 et seq.) in any manner that permits a household or individual to qualify for benefits under that program without qualifying under the specific eligibility standards (including income and assets requirements) of the program, regardless
of the participation of the household or individual in any other Federal or State program.
